Permits & Agreements

A Work Permit must be obtained prior to entering onto railroad property owned or operated by Chesapeake and Delaware, LLC (C&D).

In most situations, an existing Right of Way Agreement is required as a precedent to obtaining a Work Permit. The process for obtaining a Right of Way Agreement varies for each of our railroads, depending on the owner of the right of way.
